The 80’s Tag

I came across this tag on YouTube by user Jess Lizama – I am so nostalgic for the 80’s at the best of times so I just had to appropriate this tag! Thanks to Jess for coming up with this. It stirred up a lot of fond memories trying to think of answers for each question. I also added on a few of my own at the bottom! Favourite 80’s movie? When I was younger I would probably have gone with The Breakfast Club (I still love that movie) or Pretty in Pink but as I got older I started to have more of an appreciation for Some Kind of Wonderful and now view it as the best John Hughes movie (just in my […]

Hiatus No More!

I just wanted to draft a short post to report that I am still alive and kicking – and feeling much better for having a two-week break from blogging. I will be back posting regularly from next week. I wanted to thank everyone for the lovely comments. I have not yet gotten around to responding but I have read them all and I am really touched by the kindness of my fellow bloggers. It really is such a lovely community and I am happy and proud to be a part of it. I will do my best to catch up over the next week. I have really missed blogging and especially missed conversing with you all. I am so glad it […]

Blogging Slump…

I never thought this would actually happen to me. Sounds kind of arrogant right? I have seen so many posts about those dreaded blogging slumps and didn’t think I would ever fall into one myself. This blog has helped me through so much over the last year. I am so grateful to have found the book blogging community and you guys have really kept my spirits up, even through the darkest of times. So when I started to feel like I didn’t want to write any posts or make any graphics (which I usually love doing), I ignored it thinking the feeling would just go away. Whelp, unfortunately for me, it really didn’t. I have had a really hard time […]

The Cinderella Book Tag

The Cinderella Book Tag

I came across this tag on The Daily Prophecy (originally created by Tiffany @ About To Read). I hardly (if ever!) wait about to be tagged so I have decided to tag myself since I’m such a rebel. 😉 I would encourage anyone to consider doing this tag. It was a lot of fun coming up with answers for this. Thanks to Tiffany for devising such an awesome tag. Cinderella is not my favourite Disney film but the categories really challenged me to come up with great answers and I had a heck of a lot of fun doing it. 😀 I’ve said it before, but I really have to go with Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick. Nora was the […]
