what’s the buzz: weekly round-up and book haul
Do you ever get a week that feels like it’s never going to end? Where you feel tired and lethargic no matter how well you sleep? Welp, this week was one of those weeks for me.
Still, it’s finally the weekend and today (well, yesterday now by the time I get this post up haha!) was a pretty good day. We decided to get out of the house for awhile and went to see Annabelle Comes Home which was alright, if not wholly original (the last movie Annabelle Creation was surprisingly scary and felt pretty innovative). Still, it passed the time and gave us the excuse to go out for a nice meal afterwards. 😉

weekly bookish purchases
These all look so amazing – I can’t believe I didn’t realize Jacqueline Carey had released Starless! And last year too! Shameful of me…
I’ve been trying like crazy to track down this edition of Golden Fool by Robin Hobb – now I finally (FINALLY!) have it in my possession! Whoop! I’m excited, can’t you tell? *maniacal laughing ensues* 😉
Two very different books but I’m looking forward to reading them both a lot! I’ve heard a lot of great things so fingers crossed!
A couple of freebies – I can never resist a freebie (like, ever!) so I snapped these up straight away.
I’ve heard a lot of positive buzz for Ragdoll so here’s hoping it lives up to the hype (I really, really hope it does!)
Some more free books for Kindle – I definitely think I have a one-click problem haha! Never mind, it means I have plenty of reading material…
These covers are pretty sweet – I like how colourful they both are… let’s hope the insides match the outsides!
These are very dramatic looking covers – I can;t wait to see what awaits inside! Hopefully I don’t walk away disappointed… 😉
received for review
Just a couple of review titles this week – I didn’t want to go overboard with the requesting (for once!)
I love how bold and spooky these covers are! I’m a sucker for a good cover and these two really drew me in.
