Stacking The Shelves – a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews

Stacking the Shelves

Here are the rules:

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

  • Participants are to create their own Stacking the Shelves post and link bank to Tynga’s Reviews so more people can join the fun!
  • Posts can be laid out any way you want.
  • The host site posts updates on a Saturday but bloggers taking part can post any day they choose.
  • Visit Tynga’s Reviews on a Saturday and add your link.
  • Visit other participants sites to find out what they have added!

The rules are simple and it is a really fun way to showcase your books and see what other bloggers are excited about this week! Not to mention the fact that it is a good way to interact with and get to know other bloggers!

Here are the books I have purchased this week:

bought

The Blue Sword by Robin McKinley: I have heard so many great things about this book so I have been looking to buy it for a while.

Noughts & Crosses by Malorie Blackman: This book looks absolutely amazing.

The Falconer by Elizabeth May: A YA historical novel set in Scotland? Yes please!

Severed Heads, Broken Hearts by Robyn Schneider: This looked pretty interesting…

Boys Like You by Juliana Stone: Had my eye on this for ages!

Here are the ARC’s I got from Netgalley:

arc

Watched by  C.J. Lyons: Very intrigued by this…

Unborn by Amber Lynn Natusch: This looks really interesting, I haven’t read the author before but I am definitely looking forward to this one.

Bottled Up Secret by Brian McNamara: This looks like a really good read.

Once Dead by Richard Phillips: Not sure what this one is about but it caught my fancy so thought I would give it a try!

    • Thanks! I’ve wanted to read the Noughts and Crosses series for ages. That’s great that you managed to pick them all up and give back at the same time. 🙂

Great haul – looks like you will be busy for awhile!! 😉

These look fabulous! I got Watched too, although I forgot to put it on my post. >_< I always forget with NetGalley books, lol. Unborn looks epic too. Same with Boys Like You….eeep. Obviously your haul is just epically awesome! XD My Stacking the Shelves!

    • Thanks – I had a good week for books!

I tend to forget about books I get from Edelweiss – probably because I don’t get approved for that many lol. 😉

Awesome stack – I am looking forward to seeing what you think of Otherbound!

    • I am really excited to get reading my haul from this week – and luckily I am now on vacation from work so I have plenty time to do so! 😀

Outing the Quarterback looks really good – I will definitely be adding it to my TBR list!

Hope you have a great weekend and enjoy your books!

    • I have been wanting to read Blue Sword for years. It was quite hard to find though so when I saw it I snatched it right up!!

Fantastic haul – Heir of Fire plus all that Tolkien!! I would be in heaven with all those books lol. 😉

    • I’ve heard quite mixed reviews as well but I am keeping my fingers crossed! Can’t pass up a YA historical set in Scotland. 🙂

Hope you enjoy your books – Lies I Told in particular looks really interesting.
