Stacking The Shelves – a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews

Here are the rules:

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

  • Participants are to create their own Stacking the Shelves post and link bank to Tynga’s Reviews so more people can join the fun!
  • Posts can be laid out any way you want.
  • The host site posts updates on a Saturday but bloggers taking part can post any day they choose.
  • Visit Tynga’s Reviews on a Saturday and add your link.
  • Visit other participants sites to find out what they have added!

The rules are simple and it is a really fun way to showcase your books and see what other bloggers are excited about this week! Not to mention the fact that it is a good way to interact with and get to know other bloggers!

Those look like some epic ones from Netgalley! I’m really eating my way through a ginormous library stack at the moment, so I’ve told myself no netgalley until then. But I do have my eye on A Little Something Different. 😉 I hope it’s good! My Stacking the Shelves!

    • Nothing better than a huge stack of books! 😉 Lol – I say the same with Netgalley but I can’t seem to help myself from requesting more even when I have a huge stack to get through already.

Great haul – I really have to read Patrick Ness soon! Hope you enjoy your books. 🙂

  2. I really enjoyed A Little Something Different! The Walled City has been on my radar for awhile and I’m definitely keeping an eye on Storm. I liked the first book in the series, but I’m not sure I enjoyed it enough to keep reading the series.

    Happy reading!

    My StS!

    • Glad to hear you enjoyed A Little Something Different – it does look really good so I am eager to start it. 🙂

Wow – what a fantastic haul you have this week – I wouldn’t know where to begin – they all look so good! 😉 Hope you enjoy all of your lovely books.

    • Thanks! Hope you enjoy your books – couldn’t help but notice you got Blue Lily, Lily Blue – so exciting!! I can’t wait for it to come out – looking forward to seeing your thoughts on it. 🙂

I know what you mean about the Orphan Queen – I didn’t notice until after I had requested it. Hope that it doesn’t start a precedent – I would probably stop requesting ARC’s altogether if only releasing excerpts becomes common practice. 🙁

    • A Little Something Different does look really amazing! I’m looking forward to starting it.

What an amazing birthday haul – so many awesome books! I am totally in awe!! Hope you had a great birthday and that you enjoy all of your books. 🙂

    • There has been a lot of good buzz about A Little Something Different – I am really hoping it is as amazing as it looks to be! 😉

Thanks – hope you enjoy all of your books too – some real beauties there!! Harry Potter, Angelfall, not to mention Northanger Abbey…awesome selection – you will not be disappointed. 😀

  3. I LOVE Jodi Meadows! Eep! I’m really excited for The Orphan Queen, but haven’t really found the time to read it. Also, A Little Something Different seems interesting and I was in the twitter party for it with the other Fierce Reads authors.

    You have a cool haul!

Please check out my haul (and leave a comment?), here!

    • I haven’t read any Jodi Meadows before but have wanted to for awhile – hopefully I enjoy it!

You had a really great haul too – the Shadow Society has been sitting on my shelf for ages – you have totally reminded me that I need to read it (and soon!) I love a good bargain myself. 😉

    • Thanks – hope you enjoy your books too! Some great finds – I used to read Patricia A. McKillip when I was younger – wouldn’t mind checking her out again. 🙂

    • I have been looking forward to the Walled City so snapped it up straight away when I saw it on Netgalley lol. 😉

The Orphan Queen cover is beautiful – it’s definitely one I want to buy in hardcover when it comes out.

Oooh that Kindle case is stunning – I would definitely buy it!!

  4. I need to add a few of these to my “to check out (and probably buy) list.” I really love how simplistic the cover for “The Photographer” is. This is an awesome haul and I can’t wait to see your reviews.

I hope you have an awesome day and, if you have time, here’s a link to my Stacking the Shelves post.

    • Thanks for stopping by and checking out my haul – I am pretty excited to get started on these! 😀

You had an awesome haul this week too – I really want to read Side Effects My Vary – I will be looking out for your thoughts on it. 🙂

  5. The Orphan Queen and The Walled City sound amazing and are on my TBR. although I think it must be a bit too late for me to be looking at the collage…too much on my eyes, lol. I hope you enjoy all your new books. Happy Reading!
    Here are my newest additions.

    • Lol – it kinda hurts my eyes if I stare too long at it too – I think I might want to think about something a little less blurry in future! 😀

Awesome haul – you also totally reminded me to request The Vines since I had an email saying I was auto-approved – it looks amazing! 🙂
