Top Ten Foody Books

Top Ten Tuesday is an awesome meme hosted by the lovely folks @ The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s theme is top ten:

Foody Books (or books with food on the cover)

I really struggled with this post because I love to eat (mmm food) but I don’t read a lot of books that are about food or cooking books or anything along those lines. I finally settled on covers that have yummy-looking food on the covers as I have read/seen a few that have made me hungry… which is, so like, not hard!

1. Tell Me Three Things by Julie Buxbaum

Waffles. This book looks really good but seriously, Waffles? Give me some of those. Waffles. Yum. Sorry, got a bit distracted there! | Goodreads

2. Sweethearts by Sara Zarr

I adore this book but the cover actually does not reflect the serious issues contained in the powerful read. Still, the cover does look delicious! | Goodreads

3. After the Kiss by Terra Elan McVoy

These sweets on the cover certainly do take me back to my youth! I loved any and all sweeties as a kid but I [particularly remember having a certain fondness for these… | Goodreads

4. A Field Guide for Heartbreakers by Kristen Tracy

There is nothing I love more than vanilla ice cream but vanilla ice cream with sprinkles? Oh mammy, daddy! | Goodreads

5. The Cupcake Queen by Heather Hepler

Cupcakes! Cupcakes!! Did I mention Cupcakes??? These look absolutely amazing… I’m drooling at the thought of these! | Goodreads

6. Bittersweet by Sarah Ockler

This book is about a girl who bakes cupcakes (even though it looks more like a biscuit on the cover??) o.O It is one of my favourite fluffy-ish reads. | Goodreads

7. Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson

More ice cream? I’m really starting to get a hankering here… Too bad it’s not really the weather for it anymore. 🙁 | Goodreads

8. The Lie Tree by Frances Hardinge

How’d you like them apples? C’mon, I had to get something reasonably healthy in here! | Goodreads

9. When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon

I’ve heard a lot of good things about this book but I kinda just want to snatch the iced coffee away from the girl on the cover?! I’m a bad person lol. | Goodreads

10. You Wish by Mandy Hubbard

Make a wish and blow out the candles! This book reminds me of birthdays which reminds me of birthday cakes. Yum! | Goodreads
