2015 Debut Author Challenge – sign up!
I took part in a similar challenge to this last year with… less than sparkling results. But, it is time to move forward and forget about the failures of 2014! I am determined to complete ALL challenges this year and this particular challenge looks like a heck of a lot of fun so I just had to sign up!
Hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl, the purpose of this challenge is to read books by debut authors. I am planning to read 12 but may manage more, depending on how it goes.
For this challenge you must post your thoughts on each debut book read and these books must have a publishing date in 2015. They must also be read between January 1 2015 and January 31 2016. The book must be classified as a middle grade, young adult, or new adult title and must be the author’s debut in this age group (if they have written adults books only previously it will still count as a debut).
Self-published books do not count for this challenge. ARC’s are fine but you must read them the year they are published. Since this challenge is International, some books will be debuts in some countries and not in others. This makes it a little tricky but if the book came out this year in your country for the first time, even though it was available elsewhere, then you can count it – yay! You can also promote the challenge with the hashtag: #DAC2015.
I do not have a definitive list of debuts as yet, but here are some of the books I am considering:
bye for now!

Reblogged this on Jabberwocky Warrior and commented:
I’ve done the Goodreads.com challenge before. This is kind of a fun twist on that.
That’s the one I did last year too (I failed miserably lol). 🙂
I failed Goodreads challenge last year haha. This year will hopefully go a lot better! With the addition if the Debut Challenge.
