Top Ten Tuesday is an awesome meme previously hosted by the lovely folks @ The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl

Today’s Topic is:

Books On My Spring 2019 TBR

I’m going to twist this one a little and change it to books I’ve bought recently that I’m determined to read this Spring! I buy so many books that then just sit sad on my bookshelf… well, NO MORE!!

1. The Girl with the Red Balloon by Katherine Locke

I’ve been wanting to read this for absolutely ages so now I have it in my possession there is nothing stopping me (except, ya know, my towering TBR haha!)

2. The Music of What Happens by Bill Konigsberg

I recently read Openly Straight and Honestly, Ben and enjoyed both of them so I am eager to read this latest book by Bill Konigsberg.

3. The Lady’s Guide to Petticoats and Piracy by Mackenzi Lee

I adored (adored!) The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue so this is one I have been keeping on the back-burner for when I really need a pick-me-up book.

4. The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang

This looks so fluffy (well, mature fluff anyway!) There are so many rave reviews and I’m in a contemporary romance kinda place for once so seems like a good fit.

5. Skyward by by Brandon Sanderson

I have been meaning to read Brandon Sanderson for the longest time so Skyward is definitely a book I want to get to this spring for sure.

6. King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo

I will need to read this rest of the books in this series first (well, re-read the first book as I’ve actually already read it) but I’m looking forward to meeting Nikolai.

7. Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan

This came in a book box and it just looks so darn good I could eat it (well, not really but you know what I mean). 😉

8. The Ruin of Kings by Jenn Lyons

So excited for this one – it’s my first Goldsboro edition and it is just so purty… It would be a real shame to leave this one languishing on my shelves!

9. Heart of Iron by Ashley Poston

I love the cover and this sounds like a me-book! Seriously, I really like the sound of this one so it is definitely getting read very soon.

10. The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon

I have a signed (and personalised!) copy of and I am so excited about this I can’t even… This book just sounds amazing. It’s probably at the top of my list.
