Brin’s Book Buzz: May
May is here, and with it brings a whole host of fabulous new releases! There are a lot (and I mean a lot) of great new releases out this month but I have tried to narrow the list down to the ones I am most looking forward to (and if Goodreads is anything to go by, the ones most readers are excited for).
Without any further ado, here are the releases due out in May.
**5th May 2015**
The Fill-In Boyfriend by Kasie West
I haven’t yet read any of Kasie West’s books (I know, shame on me!) even though I have actually bought all of them to-date. This looks like a super-fun story. I like the concept of the main character finding a ‘fill-in’ boyfriend when she is dumped by her long-term love – and then falling for the replacement!

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
I haven’t read the author’s Throne of Glass series but i have it on good authority that it is awesome. This new series really appeals to me. I was approved for an ARC and I will hopefully have my review up very soon.

Crimson Bound by Rosamund Hodge
You will be starting to see a theme here, I have Cruel Beauty sitting on my shelf but I haven’t read it yet. This hasn’t lessened my excitement for this book however, I will be definitely be buying it and reading both books soon.

The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Adhieh
I am really super-excited for this book! It looks so utterly and completely amazing. I really hope it lives up to my (admittedly sky-high) expectations.

End of Days by Susan Ee
The third book is finally on the horizon! I loved the first book but was a little let down by the second, which has dampened my enthusiasm somewhat for the final part of the trilogy. I am still really looking forward to reading it though.

Made You Up by Francesca Zappia
This book looks like a really hard-hitting but worthwhile read. Books that cover mental illness always appeal to me giving my own struggles with OCD, anxiety, and depression. I am looking forward to reading this.

Hold Me Like a Breath by Tiffany Schmidt
I was really looking forward to reading this but a couple of less-than-stellar reviews have me a bit wary. I am still going to give it a shot though.

P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han
Not read the first book (yet) but I have enjoyed other books by the author so I am pretty confident that I will enjoy this series – I will definitely be picking this up on release.

Nowhere but Here by Katie McGarry
I adore Katie McGarry so I am pretty much guaranteed to love this book. I will be purchasing it as soon as it becomes available and most likely reading it right away. 😉

The Cage by Megan Shepherd
I don’t know too much about this book but I do really like the author and the premise sounds really promising. I do like science fiction and it can be quite rare in the young adult genre. Looking forward to checking it out.
