Fictional Boyfriends Tag

I mean, I don’t know about anyone else but I have a lot of book boyfriends – every time I read a new series with a swoony male lead, I add yet another to my harem. Guess I’m kinda slutty that way! 😛 So instead of waiting to be tagged, I decided to tag myself!

1. Most romantic boyfriend

adrian

Hmm, this is a tough one. I am going to have to go with Adrian Ivashkov from Richelle Mead’s Bloodlines series. When this boy commits, he really commits. He is the king of romantic gestures and would be such an awesome romantic boyfriend.

2. Dark and moody bad boy with a good side

camden

Camden McQueen from Karina Halle’s Artists Trilogy immediately springs to mind. He really epitomizes dark, moody, and (lets face it) broody but the boy does have a good side which really comes out when he falls back in love with Ellie again, despite it all.

3. Paranormal boyfriend

tod

I read a lot of paranormal books so there is a plethora of book boyfriends to choose from, but I gotta go with Tod Hudson from Rachel Vincent’s Soul Screamers series. He is très adorable and a reaper to boot!

4. Boyfriend you want to tame

rowan

Not sure ‘tame’ would be the right word but I would love to get wanderer Rowan from Kirsten Hubbard’s Wanderlove to settle down. He is a bit off a nomad at the beginning but as the novel progressed… well lets just say you really need to read it to see what I mean. This bad boy trying to be good is both sweet and a little bit dangerous at the same time.

5. Boy you friend zoned

hsin

Hsin Vega from the online series In The Company of Shadows. Hsin is mind-bogglingly hot but unfortunately more interested in his fellow agent and partner Boyd. 😉 Would still love to be this guy’s friend though.

6. Your soul mate

gansey

Gansey (or Richard Campbell Gansey III to give him his full title) from Maggie Stiefvater’s The Raven Cycle. Good-looking and dorky? Check. Into history? Check. Great group of friends? Check. Awesome car? Check (the Pig!!). A little bit clueless? Check. Everything about Gansey is just adorable.

7. Boyfriend you want to elope with

michael

Michael Merrick from Brigid Kemmerer’s Elemental series. This guy is a keeper. He took responsibility of his brothers after his parent’s death and kept their business running. He is utterly devoted to his family. This is the type of guy you would want to marry.

8. Boyfriend you’d venture anywhere with

jonah

Jonah Griggs from Jellicoe Road. This boy would have my back – no questions asked. He is loyal and adorable and just plain awesome. He would be willing to up sticks and go wherever I wanted to go.

9. Boyfriend you’d want to be stranded on a desert island with

tucker

Tucker Avery from the Unearthly series. Boy is seriously cute and capable to boot (I seriously didn’t mean to rhyme there!)

10. Most badass boyfriend

thorne

Captain Thorne from The Lunar Chronicles. He is funny and badass at the same time. A bit of a cad but has a really good heart underneath it all.
