June Bookstagram Challenges (and what I got up to today)

With each daily prompt, you choose which of the two choices you prefer. So, let’s say the choice was between Game of Thrones and the Lord of the Rings, you choose which one is your favourite and create a photo using your choice (and FYI, as much as I love GoT, it would be LotR all the way!!)

This one’s pretty self-explanatory – you basically post a photo containing the prompt for that day which features the various trinkets/ props that bookstagrammers use to supplement their photos. This one sounded really different and fun so I couldn’t resist taking part (even though originally I was only going to do one challenge).

This was a cruel, cruel choice which took much debating but in the end I had to go with candles. 💜
Day 8 of #bookishsummertrinkets: Torn Pages
I honestly hate it when my books get damaged (woe betide anyone who borrows from me and returns a book in a less than perfect state 😡) so I don’t actually have any books with torn out pages. Luckily, I do have some vintage pages that I bought for decorative purposes!
Also pictured are some vintage books I have acquired. Although I hate it when new books get damaged, I do love picking up older books second-hand and think that a little bit wear and tear gives them character. I know, I know – I’m rather contrary with some things. 😂
What Else I got up to Today
Day off work today so I braved the elements (it has poured with rain non-stop today) and went out for some breakfast and then took myself off to the polling station to vote. Then came home and fell asleep lol. 😂 I’m about to put in a few hours of gaming this evening as there is a new patch for Mass Effect: Andromeda and I am curious to see the improvements.
