My Gaming Setup

setup (1)
My gaming set up: Television, Soundbar, Xbox One, Playstation 4, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360 tucked in the corner.
accessories (1)
Accessories : Xbox One headphones, Controller (very necessary!)
seat (1)
Lastly, my comfy gaming seat!

I am mainly a console gamer so my set up is set around the television in my living room. I do have a gaming PC but at present the room where it lives is being used for storage and there are piles of boxes in front of it so I cannot actually get into it at the moment. The only games I tend to play on the PC are the Sims games which I haven’t really been playing very much lately so it hasn’t kept me back much. I could upgrade my gaming PC, using reviews from sites like 25pc.com, so that I’d use it more but whilst that room is being used for storage I’ll have to wait.

Currently Playing and Recommended:

life is strnage

I have mainly been playing the awesome, incredible Life is Strange! Part 2 came out a while back and I didn’t get into right away but when I did I just could not stop playing! Part 3 is out next week and I can hardly wait. I have heard that the next installment is where the game really kicks into gear and I am so excited to play it. I would highly recommend this game to everyone. The soundtrack is amazing too. I have been streaming it on my computer for days.

I have also been playing Dragon Age Inquisition since there was new DLC out recently. I honestly do not think I will ever get sick of this game. The Black Emporium makes a return which is great because now I can tweak my character’s appearance in-game – they always look great when I create them but can look a little wonky in the game itself. Plus, Isabela from Dragon Age II makes a welcome return (even if it is just in multiplayer mode).

Happy Gaming!

  1. I haven’t played any of the Dragon Age games yet! We have the first two, and I’m waiting to get Inquisition, but it’s one of those games I’ve tried to play, and it just hasn’t taken yet. I’m very much a mood gamer. Something has to strike my fancy before I can get into it, so I’ll often start a game two or three times before I actually get hooked.

I am the same – it took me forever to get into Skyrim!! I am a bit of a mood gamer too (and mood reader come to think of it). I can’t force myself to play if I am just not feeling it. Trust me, when you get hooked on Dragon Age, you will get really hooked. 😉

  2. Oh my gosh, that seat looks SO COMFY. *_* I feel like that chair would be the best for any kind of relaxing activity. 😀

I actually have Dragon Age: Origins! It was on Humble Bundle a while back and I have it in my Steam library. I haven’t gotten around to playing it yet tho. O: One day!

Lol – it is really comfy. It’s actually new (just got it last week) and I am happy to finally have a chair comfy to sit on for gaming. It’s great for curling up with a book too. 😉

DA: Origins is still my favourite of the DA games. The graphics aren’t as good obviously, but the story is where it’s at. It really was the game that got me back into gaming in a big way.

  3. Oooh your gaming set up looks so comfy and immersive, I would love to sink into that couch and look up at that big screen! I’ve heard a lot about Life is Strange, I’ll have to see if I can get it on PC. Thanks for participating Brin!

It is very comfy – perfect for relaxing after a long, stressful day at work. 🙂

Life is Strange is amazing. I am currently playing through again with a different set of options so I can see the different outcomes and I am not bored at all – I really missed A LOT the first time round. 😉 It is available for PC via Steam (it’s an episodic game with five parts) but I am sure it will be released as a single game once the episodes have all been released in a few months time. 😀
