Question: what game character would you like to be this Halloween?
I have always been a huge fan of Alice in Wonderland and all its variations, so when Alice: Madness Returns was released on the Xbox 360 I snapped it up (my version also came with the bonus copy of the first game American McGee’s Alice which was pretty cool). I really had fun playing this game and I think that the gothic undertones and genuine creepiness of this version of Wonderland would make dressing up as Alice for Halloween totally awesome. I mean, it’s definitely a cool costume and would be fairly iconic at the same time!
Recommendation: for October
Hmm, think I am going to go with The Evil Within. You cannot beat a little bit of survival horror and this game would be perfect to play in the run up to Halloween. It’s been getting some great reviews and from the little I have seen of the game – it is definitely scary. Plus it’s from the creator of Resident Evil – one of my favourite games of all time!

I am still toiling away replaying Dragon Age: Origins. It’s a long game – don’t judge me lol. 😉 Really looking forward to Dragon Age: Inquisition which is out next month!
Omg, ALICE! 😀 My friend really wants to cosplay Alice for a con so we’ve been looking at reference images and trying to figure out how to make the costume. That game looks so cool and dark, and even though I’m such a horror-chicken, I want to play it! *_*

Alice: Madness Returns is a great game. It isn’t really scary but the Wonderland segments are somewhat unsettling at times. More creepy than outright scary, I think. 🙂 I would recommend it – it’s definitely fun!
I recommend Dragon Age to everyone – probably my favourite game series ever. 😀

Oooh Alice: Madness Returns is definitely a fitting character for Halloween, she looks scary too! I haven’t played this game but I do like the sound of the Wonderland of Horror. I haven’t played Dragon Age yet but I know it’s a really great RPG. I’m still trying to get through Skyrim lol. Thank you so much for participating in our feature!
Yup, a gothic version of Alice – definitely fits me lol. 😀 It’s a fun game definitely.
Dragon Age is amazing game – but then I am biased because I have been a BioWare fan for years! I really loved Skyrim too but don’t think I have even done half of the stuff you can do in that game!!
