Question: What games are you looking forward to in 2015?
Oh boy – there are way too many games I am excited for in 2015! There seems to be a plethora of games being released in 2015 and among them some games I have been eagerly awaiting for quite some time. This list could virtually be endless so I am going to do my best to narrow it down.
Persona 5
Does this dude look familiar to you? Bearing a rather striking resemblance to Harry Potter, this is actually the new protagonist of the upcoming Persona 5. I am a huge fan of this series and I cannot wait for this to be released. It is due out in Japan and North America in 2015 but no date as yet for the UK. 🙁 I am keeping my fingers crossed that we get this in 2015 but I am not holding my breath.
Dying Light
I am not going to lie – I am über-excited for this game! It just looks fantastic. I love survival horror games and anything to do with zombies so it’s a win/win for me. It’s also an open world game which I also adore. There is nothing about this game that I am not looking forward to and it will definitely be getting purchased when it is released at the end of the month.
Life is Strange
I am really loving the episodic games that Telltale Games thus far seem to have perfected. So when I saw this game I was immediately intrigued. This is a new title (not by Telltale but Dontnod Entertainment, and published by Square Enix). It looks so amazing and the trailer is boss! I am really looking forward to this and I am interested in seeing how a different company approaches this type of puzzle/narrative adventure game.
The Order: 1886
I am ridiculously excited for this! Set in an alternative Victorian-era London where myths and technology co-exist, you play a knight who is determined to bring order to a world gone to chaos. How awesome does that sound? Pretty damn awesome to me!
Honourable Mention: Silent Hills
I have already played the playable demo that was released a few months ago and I can tell you that if the rest of the game is anything like the demo it is going to be pretty darn scary! I am also really excited by the involvement of Guillermo del Toro and The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus. This is definitely going to be something to watch out for (although it would take a lot to beat Pyramid Head from Silent Hill 2) but I don’t think it is going to be released until 2016. 🙁
Recommendation: Dragon Age Inquisition
I can’t not recommend this game (I did spend nearly 120 hours playing it lol). It was an incredible experience and, although not without flaws, I would have to say it is the best game I have played in years.
Currently Playing:
I am currently on my second play through of Dragon Age Inquisition! I told you I loved this game. 😉 This is my second inquisitor Caitrin. 🙂

bye for now!

All I have to say on this post is:

I can’t wait for Uncharted 4, Legend of Zelda Wii U, Kingdom Hearts 3. The Order:1886 looks intriguing and we’ll probably get that as well!
Right now I’m playing Bioshock 1. I’m at the end though, so I’m not sure what’s up next!
Uncharted 4 looks amazing and I have a lot of love for Zelda! I loved the first Kingdom Hearts game but never played the second. Still, the new one looks good so I will probably pick it up too!
Bioshock is an incredible game – such a unique concept! I hope you are enjoying it. 🙂
We recently picked up Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix and 2.5 Remix, but then the PS3 broke, so our replaying will have to wait.
I’m just about at the end of Bioshock, have you played/would you recommend Bioshock 2?
Sorry for the super-late response – been catching up on all my comments! I didn’t really manage to get into Bioshock 2. I have picked it up a few times but couldn’t really get into it unfortunately.
Those all look like cool games but I think my favorite to look forward too out of those is The Order! I love historical games..lol. 🙂
The Order does look amazing… 😀
The Order, all the way.I hear it’s recommended for your health by 4 out of 5 chimney sweeps.
Lol – well that settles it then – The Order it is! 😉
Yay, good to see you join us Brin! I’ve seen pre-orders about for The Order and always wondered what it was about, I love the sound of it already. Thanks for highlighting Life is Strange, I love every telltale game and this looks interesting!
Thanks!! The Order looks really amazing – can’t wait to play it.
Life is Strange looks like a fun game – I’m glad it caught your interest!! 🙂
