Stacking The Shelves – a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews
Stacking the Shelves
Here are the Rules
Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
- Participants are to create their own Stacking the Shelves post and link bank to Tynga’s Reviews so more people can join the fun!
- Posts can be laid out any way you want.
- The host site posts updates on a Saturday but bloggers taking part can post any day they choose.
- Visit Tynga’s Reviews on a Saturday and add your link.
- Visit other participants sites to find out what they have added!

The rules are simple and it is a really fun way to showcase your books and see what other bloggers are excited about this week! Not to mention the fact that it is a good way to interact with and get to know other bloggers!

Great haul! I’ve heard awesome things about the Bloodlines series so I may have to marathon the Vampire Academy books and then read Bloodlines. Everyone seems to love them! I hope you enjoy your books and have a great week! 🙂
Krystianna @ Downright Dystopian
I highly recommend Bloodlines – it starts off slower than Vampire Academy but when the series gets going – wow!
Awesome haul – hope you enjoy reading them all. 🙂
I love your haul! All great books 🙂 I got Never Never a month ago and it’s great. I’m reading Scarlett right now and will soon read Cress. But i haven’t gotten Fairest yet. Looking forward to your reviews 🙂
I’m glad to hear Never Never was great – I have heard mixed reviews so far but I still really want to read it!
I haven’t gotten Fairest yet either – really need to finish Cress first lol. 🙂
I really need to start the Stormdancer series because it looks amazing. I love the My Heart and Other Black Holes book, it was absolutely amazing.
My haul this week
I’m also giving away the book of your choice from The Book Depository. Check it out here
It does look amazing – only problem is I don’t have the second one! I honestly thought I had bought it already. I will definitely need to get it now!! My Heart and Other Black Holes looks amazing – can’t wait to start it.
Love your haul too – I like the look of Black Dove, White Raven – will need to add it to my TBR list! 🙂
I personally didn’t like Never Never because it was too slow and not much was happening. And omg you got Ruby Circle and My Heart and Other Black Holes!! And awww lovely gifts from the babe. I got two things and apparently theirs a third that I should be getting this week. I hope you had a fantastic V-Day 🙂
Check out my STS.
Genesis @ GenGen’s Book Blog
I have heard mixed reviews about Never Never – fingers crossed that I will enjoy it lol.
Yup, I just had to pick up the Ruby Circle and My Heart and Other Black Holes – can’t wait to get started on them!
I know, right? He’s a keeper lol. I love your gifts too – I adore elephants and a coffee maker is like a gift from the gods! 😀
Hope you had a great Valentine’s Day – enjoy all of your lovely books! <3
Hahaha a coffee maker is definitely a gift from the gods lol
Definitely! 😀
I feel like I need to try Never Never. Great haul!
Check out my STS
Thanks! I love your haul too – The Haunting of Sunshine Girl looks like an amazing read. I was approved for that as well and I am really excited about it!!
Enjoy your books! 😀
Hi Brin! I see you’ve moved your blog too! It’s so pretty 😀 I’ve been enjoying the freedom to play around with my blog layout too; how are you liking the blogger platform?
I also picked up Sea of Stars! I actually started reading it last night, but then suddenly remembered why I gave book one such a low review, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to even finish it. Did you enjoy book one?
Thanks Claudia! I love your new design too! Congrats on going self-hosted. <3
I love the freedom too - being able to really play around with the layout is amazing (but the downside is I cannot seem to settle on a style - think I'm just about there though!) I am so glad I made the switch because having all the various plugins is just awesome. 🙂 Are you enjoying the experience?
I am really bad actually - I thought Sea of Stars was the first book! I will need to go and check out the first one (though not sure if I should if it is really bad... decisions!) lol 😉
– Thank you!
– I agree, I love all the plugins too, but they are overwhelming. I recently purchased the Ultimate Book Blogger plugin, but am finding I need to set time aside to actually play with it :/ Oh and I can totally relate to not being satisfied with a layout; it’s become a serious peeve of mine 😛
– I am enjoying the experience, although, I have to admit that I did crash my site twice! I’m such a noob!
– Under Different Stars is the first book actually. I personally thought that the premise of the story was spectacular; however, the author seemed to take a different path somewhere in the middle and turned the prose into a messy sappy romance novel; it felt odd to say the least, but that’s just me! You may very well like it! 😉 Start with book one though! 😉
I know what you mean about all the plugins – there are just so many lol. 😉 I have the UBB as well but I have not really had much time to play around with it either.
Layout are my worst nightmare. I got the tweak me theme which is awesome but I have already changed it about 5 times!!
Lol – I had to completely reset this blog twice before I eventually got it up and running. There were a lot of problems trying to transfer from wordpress.com to wordpress.org (plus I got a virus!) – so I totally know how you feel! 😀
Hmm, that is annoying when that happens. I will check the series out though (definitely going to read the first book – I cannot start partway into a series).
