This week was my first full week back at work so was a pretty busy week with not a lot of time for blogging though I still managed to find time to write-up a couple of posts! It was also release week for The Wicked King and I was pretty pleased to get it on release date for a change.

I also finished playing Dragon Age: Origins (well, replaying for the umpteenth time). I had (almost) forgotten just how much I love that game. It’s definitely a contender for one of my favourite games of all time (along with every other Bioware game haha!) I just couldn’t resist romancing Alistair again – he’s just too cute!

I didn’t go too mad with the book-buying this week, but I still got a few beauts I’m happy to add to my ever-growing collection!

The Wicked King by Holly Black | The Winter of the Witch by Katherine Arden | Five Feet Apart by Rachael Lippincott

The Wicked King was finally (finally!) out this week. I’ve read it already – it was amazing! I’ll keep any other thoughts I have on it for my review. 😉 I also got The Winter of the Witch and Five Fee Apart – check out all the gorgeous covers.

Paperback Crush by Gabrielle Moss | All the Forever Things by Jolene Perry | The Toymakers by Robert Dinsdale | Touch by Natalia Jaster

I am so excited to read Paperback Crush! I love 1980’s and 1990’s young adult fiction so this book is definitely the book for me! I’m also really looking forward to reading The Toymakers. Finally, I picked up a paperback copy of Touch – I always love getting physical copies of my favourite books, even when I already own the Kindle versions. 😉

Only five vintage books this week (see, told you I was cutting down!) 😉 I thought it was about time I got the final Caitlin trilogy (before it becomes impossible to find). I also picked up the last book in the Smyth vs Smith saga. Only got the fourth book to get and I will have them all (unfortunately, that one is rarer than hen’s teeth so I think I will forever be disappointed). Oh, and I also finally got Jane-Emily – I’ve wanted this book for ages and I was chuffed to bits to get this particular edition (I love this cover!)

I was really happy to get a second Amazon First Reads book (they are doing an offer) I never noticed it when I downloaded my book last week and as usual I fancied more than one of the titles so was a nice bonus also being able to get The Forgotten Hours!
