what’s the buzz: weekly round-up and book haul
Well, this was Wayward Son release week – I have been waiting for this all year (since it was first announced last year, actually). I even ended up taking the day off work so I could read it without fear of accidentally spoiling myself (I was already dodging spoilers because some folks were lucky enough to get it a couple of days earlier – no jealous or anything). 😉
Apart from Wayward Son taking up all of brain space, I also managed to sneak in a trip to the cinema to see Ready or Not which was really quite entertaining (oh, hey there Adam Brody!) I was also super-happy to get an ARC of Tempt by Natalia Jaster. I spent most of last night and all of today reading it (savouring it, really). It was so good guys – just the cure I needed to sort out my book hangover from Wayward Son! The Selfish Myths series is so fantastic and never fails to perk me up.

What a wonderful haul. I have Wayward Son out from the library now but am reading The Babysitter’s Coven first. I have to snag a copy of Monsters on the Moors – it sounds really good.
