what’s the buzz: weekly round-up and book haul
I’ve been pretty much MIA for the last couple of weeks (again). Had some stuff going on (including a relative passing due to COVID and another hospitalised with it) so I hadn’t really felt like blogging so much. Work has also been really busy so I’ve not had a lot of free time.
I’ve been trying to de-stress by playing video games mostly (not really had much concentration for reading unfortunately). I have been playing Final Fantasy XV and really enjoying it (I had previously started the game back when it was released in 2016 but it didn’t grab me, I then tried again in 2018 but the combat was kicking my ass so I stopped again).
This time round I have come to grips with the fighting and the story has pulled me in plus the four main characters are awesome! I’m kicking myself for not getting into it sooner. The Chocobros are really what make this game special though. I love them all (though I have a soft spot for Prompto – he’s so cute and squishy!)
- Final Fantasy 7 Remake pins from Tea No Sugar – these pins were pre=orders and they finally came a couple of weeks ago! Aren’t they amazing??
- Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 15, Pokemon, Sailor Moon, nier Automata, Hungry Hippo pins/badges from Tea No Sugar – the majority of these were sale pins but what a haul, huh?
- Mixed Final Fantasy badges from Tengu Arts, Laguna and Reno rubber stamps charms from eBay, cards from Square Enix Store – Bit of a theme here haha!

- Yuri and Victor (from Yuri on Ice) Nendoroids from Amazon – my collection of Yuri Nendoroids is nearly complete (only one more to get woohoo!!)
- Victor and Yuri Q Poskets from eBay and Amazon – these were so hard to track down but I finally did it!

- Book sleeves from Book Besties UK – these are all so cute (yep, even the horror one!) I can’t stop looking at them and noticing new details each time.
- Wangxian pin from Rey Pin Store – I pre-ordered this a while ago and it finally came! It’s so pretty – the photo doesn’t do it justice…
- MDZS/TGCF acrylic stands plus keychain from AliExpress: these are super-adorable! I just love them!!
