Stacking the Shelves – a weekly meme hosted by Reading Reality

what’s the buzz: weekly round-up and book haul

I’ve not got all that much to talk about – my life has been pretty boring over the last week or so. Time seems to be flying by – I can’t believe we are nearing the end of October. 😱

I have started watching the new I Know What You Did Last Summer based loosely (very loosely) on the book by Lois Duncan and it’s weirdly compelling and absolutely bonkers at the same time?! I don’t much like any of the characters (the most likable was killed off in the 2nd episode) but it has me hooked (see what I did there?) It’s very different to the book and to any of the movies (which also diverged very far away from the book itself) but there are a few Easter eggs to watch out for…

I have also been watching Y: The Last Man which is pretty interesting but annoying having to wait week-to-week for each episode (I have totally been spoiled by watching boxsets – appointment telly feels weird now haha!)
