Stacking The Shelves – a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews
Stacking the Shelves
Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
- Participants are to create their own Stacking the Shelves post and link bank to Tynga’s Reviews so more people can join the fun!
- Posts can be laid out any way you want.
- The host site posts updates on a Saturday but bloggers taking part can post any day they choose.
- Visit Tynga’s Reviews on a Saturday and add your link.
- Visit other participants sites to find out what they have added!
The rules are simple and it is a really fun way to showcase your books and see what other bloggers are excited about this week! Not to mention the fact that it is a good way to interact with and get to know other bloggers!

here are the books i added to my shelves this week:
bought:
I love Jessica Park’s other novels so I knew when I came across Clear I just had to read it! Aflame is another book I just had to buy (I just have to find out what happens with Tate and Jared). In the Land of Tea and Ravens has a very interesting synopsis so I picked that up too.
I have seen The Truth About Jack pop up on a lot of blogs lately which made me really curious to read it. The Song of Achilles is another book I have heard great things about and Nicholas and Alexandria looks like a fascinating read too.
Watching Anne of Green Gables again (see below) made me all nostalgic and I felt the urge to read the books again. I also picked up the Emily Starr trilogy and the Little Women series of books as well.
freebies:
I was really attracted by the pretty cover and the synopsis sounded pretty intriguing so I couldn’t resist picking up this freebie this week.
for review:
I am really super-excited to read Spelled and I adore Hannah Moskowitz’s writing so I was really chuffed to be approved for A History of Glitter and Blood. Inherit the Stars also looks really interesting (though I wish the final cover was out already).
other purchases:
The really sad news about the passing of Jonathan Crombie made me want to watch the Anne of Green Gables saga again. I was a huge fan of this series and I thought Jonathan Crombie was the quintessential Gilbert Blythe. He was a reminder to young girls everywhere that the nice, boy-next-door type can be just as intriguing as the bad boy. I hadn’t seen the actor in many other things but he will always be ‘my’ Gilbert Blythe and I was really shocked when I heard he had died (and at only 48). I have already watched Anne of Green Gables and the sequel – just have the third part to go.
