Stacking The Shelves – a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews
Stacking the Shelves
Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
- Participants are to create their own Stacking the Shelves post and link bank to Tynga’s Reviews so more people can join the fun!
- Posts can be laid out any way you want.
- The host site posts updates on a Saturday but bloggers taking part can post any day they choose.
- Visit Tynga’s Reviews on a Saturday and add your link.
- Visit other participants sites to find out what they have added!
The rules are simple and it is a really fun way to showcase your books and see what other bloggers are excited about this week! Not to mention the fact that it is a good way to interact with and get to know other bloggers!

here are the books i added to my shelves this week:
books bought:
I am so happy to finally have Fool’s Quest in my possession! It had been really long wait for this. I am also glad to finally have A Monster Calls – I have wanted this book for absolutely ages and now it’s finally all mine, isn’t it precioussss??
Last Night In Montreal looked really interesting and The Ocean at the End of the Lane has been on my TBR for a while – finally caved and bought it!
for review:
A couple of review copies also made their way into my possession this week. Vengeance Road looks really good so I am excited to read it and both Need and An Inheritance of Ashes look really interesting too. All-in-all, a nice little haul this week. 🙂
what else I’ve been up to this week:
I finally made an Instagram account – and I am seriously addicted now!! I can’t honestly remember why I was so reluctant to set an account up. I have been having so much fun with it and I do love taking pictures so it makes sense really. I am mainly focusing on books but I will be posting some other personal photos now and again when something catches my fancy. 😉
Hope you have all had a great week!!

Awesome stack of books this week. Need and An Inheritance of Ashes seem to be the popular books this week. I hope you love all of your new reads.

Thanks Grace! Hope you enjoy your books too and I am so jealous that you got to attend Book Con (okay not really… well all right, maybe just a little bit lol). Seriously though, I am glad you had such a great time and what a fabulous haul!! 🙂
This is a great collection of books! I’ve been wanting to read “Vengeance Road” for a while now. It’s on my TBR. I’ve checked out the other books on Goodreads, and, with the exception of “The Monster Calls”, which I found out deals with a very depressing topic, I want them all!!
Thanks for sharing! Happy Reading!! : )
Hi Maria – thanks so much for stopping by my blog. 🙂 Glad I could introduce you to a few new titles – a bookworm can never have enough books. 😉 Hope you enjoy your haul – you’ve got a few real beauties there. 🙂
YAY for Instagram! I love it on there so glad you joined! Looks like you got a bunch of good looking books this week. Can’t wait to hear what you think about Vengeance Road. Enjoy them all!
Thanks for the welcome – Instagram is so much fun!! I really don’t know why I held off for so long.
Ooo, Patrick Ness! and Ooo, Emily St. John Mandel. All good stuff this week for you. I’m excited to read Vengeance Road too 😉
Lol I am very excited about this haul!! I really don’t know where to start – I want to read them all right away. 😉
I’ve been wanting to check out a Monster Calls for a while. I recently read The Graveyard Book and it was so amazing! I just need to read more by Neil Gaiman. Have an awesome week.
