Stacking The Shelves – a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews
Stacking the Shelves
Here are the rules:
Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
- Participants are to create their own Stacking the Shelves post and link bank to Tynga’s Reviews so more people can join the fun!
- Posts can be laid out any way you want.
- The host site posts updates on a Saturday but bloggers taking part can post any day they choose.
- Visit Tynga’s Reviews on a Saturday and add your link.
- Visit other participants sites to find out what they have added!
The rules are simple and it is a really fun way to showcase your books and see what other bloggers are excited about this week! Not to mention the fact that it is a good way to interact with and get to know other bloggers!

Here are the books I have purchased this week:
Here are the ARC’s I got from Netgalley:
Here are the books I bought second-hand (from Amazon marketplace and Ebay):

Sweet Valley High! Brings back so many nostalgic memories. 🙂 I hope you’ll enjoy everything!
I have been buying a lot of books I loved reading when I was younger lately! I have been lucky that there have been a ton of book lots going up on Ebay and have managed to get a lot of them at bargain prices. 😀
I was about to yell that I’d bought Hexed too but… POINT. HORROR. I love Point Horror so much! Teacher’s Pet is my absolute favourite, it’s so weird. And The Diary! So good. I need to dig out all my Point Horror books, I had to box them up for extra shelf space.
Under The Mountain
I got Hexed in Asda too!! I think they have it out early as it is not supposed to be out until June 10th. I was tempted to pick up The Reckoning as well. 😉
I loved Point Horror. I haven’t read every single book in the series but I have read the vast majority. I always loved Teacher’s Pet too. Funhouse and Camp Fear were two of my other favourites!
I had to get rid of a lot of books when I moved house and have regretted it ever since. When I saw these up on Ebay I just couldn’t resist. 😀
I squealed at the stack of SVH. I used to love that series. I’m reading Remember Me right now as well.
Here’s my STS:

I…ugh…may have bought a bunch more SVH books – not arrived yet though so will probably have them up on next week’s haul!! I used to be addicted to SVH. 😉
Great haul – Remember Me does look really good. I also like the look of Broken and Blood Oath too. 🙂
Awesome haul! I’ve been hearing such great things about Hexed. I’ve heard that the hardcover edition is absolutely beautiful as well. I hope you enjoy your books. 🙂
Krystianna @ Downright Dystopian
I have been really looking forward to Hexed so when I saw it at my local supermarket (of all places!) I just had to snap it up!! 😀
Excellent haul – One Past Midnight and Dream Boy look amazing! Hope you enjoy your books!
I loved The Geography of You and Me, haven’t gotten Hexed yet, though it sounds good, have been reading some reviews that didn’t really like it, but I still want to make my own opinion. Hope you enjoy it! 🙂
Here’s mine
Kirsty @ StudioReads
The Geography of You and Me looks really good. I have been waiting for Hexed to come out. I have read some negative reviews but I’m hoping I will like it anyway too!! 🙂
Nice haul – I really need to read Scott Westerfeld at some point.
