Stacking The Shelves – a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews
Stacking the Shelves
Here are the rules:
Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
- Participants are to create their own Stacking the Shelves post and link bank to Tynga’s Reviews so more people can join the fun!
- Posts can be laid out any way you want.
- The host site posts updates on a Saturday but bloggers taking part can post any day they choose.
- Visit Tynga’s Reviews on a Saturday and add your link.
- Visit other participants sites to find out what they have added!
The rules are simple and it is a really fun way to showcase your books and see what other bloggers are excited about this week! Not to mention the fact that it is a good way to interact with and get to know other bloggers!

Here are the books I have purchased this week:
Here are the ARC’s I got from Netgalley:
I went a bit mad on Netgalley this week (right after I promised myself I was going to stop requesting so many books and finally get caught up with reading/reviewing the ones I currently have outstanding).

Wow, so many books! I’ll be curious to see what you think of Sia. My friend loved Faking Normal! Hope you enjoy!
Think I went a bit overboard this week. lol 😉
Thanks – hope you enjoy your books. Medusa looks interesting.
So many awesome reads from netgalley! I hope you enjoy all you got 🙂
Here’s my STS!
Thanks – I sure hope I do!!
Some great books in your haul this week – I am in the middle of reading Don’t Even Think About It and it is good so far. 😉
Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow is on my tbr list. I recently read two other retellings and it has to be one of my favourite fairytales. I recommend East !
I love fairytale retellings. This book looked so good I just had to get it! 😀
Me too, I can’t get enough retellings. East by Edith Pattou and Ice by Sarah Beth Durst are the other two retellings for east of the sun, west of the moon. I recommend both 😀
I will check them both out – thanks for the recommendations. 😀
Also I enjoyed John Dreamer 🙂 hope you like it too, it is a quick read
Glad you enjoyed John Dreamer! I enjoyed reading your review – definitely intrigued… 😉
It was different from what I expected for sure!
Different can be good…lol 😉
Love the covers! I read John Dreamer (review on my blog if you wish to read). I really enjoyed it but felt it needed a good editor. I’d still read the sequel/s though.

Great review! So far opinions have been pretty mixed on this book…
You got so many great books! I haven’t read any of them so I’m excited to check them out myself. New bloglovin follower =)

Hi Ashley – thanks for following. 🙂
You have some great books in your haul – welcome to Stacking the Shelves!!
I always promise myself I’m not going to go mad on NetGalley. Har, har…pfft. Forget that. 😉 This is an awesome haul! I’d love to read Sia and The Originals and Faking Normal! My StS!
I say the same just about every single week. lol 😉
Faking Normal and Sia were both really good. I can’t wait to start The Originals.
Love your book haul this week. Fangirl is amazing!!
The Originals, love Cat Patrick! I finished A Kiss in the Dark back two weeks ago, first one I’ve read of Cat Clarkes, and it was definitely…different. Hope you enjoy it! I’ve stayed away from Netgalley (kind of, I only downloaded one this week), but I should really stay away from Edelweiss more, really failed on that. 😉
Here’s mine
Kirsty @ StudioReads
Think I might be moving onto The Originals pretty soon – everyone raves about it!! I have a couple of Cat Clarke’s books but haven’t read them yet. Her stuff seems to be pretty polarizing so I hope I enjoy it. lol
I have stayed away from Edelweiss because I have so many requested from Netgalley…really need to get on that!
Great haul – The Three looks really good and I like the look of Amity and Tabula Rasa. 🙂
I feel the same way about Netgalley. I’ve put myself on restriction. 🙂 I specifically want to read Faking Normal.
I think I need to do the same. lol
Faking Normal was really good – I would definitely recommend it! Some really good books in your haul – I love all your signed copies. 😀
Surviving the Angel of Death was really good. Looks like a great haul this week!
Check out my STS.
Surviving the Angel of Death looks like a pretty hard-hitting read but I think I will like it.
Your haul is pretty great this week as well. Dust looks really good and I have been meaning to read Robin LaFevers’ series for awhile myself!!
I’ll be interested to see what you think of the Anya Lipska books as I keep looking at these… Great stack of books you’ll have fun reading all of those 🙂
They look really interesting – here’s hoping I enjoy them. 😉
I will indeed but I really need to cut down my book buying for awhile so I can catch up!!
What a haul! Several of these look good, especialyl Pendulum. Enjoy and Happy Reading!
Here are my newest additions.
Thanks – same to you!! Pendulum does look good. Can’t wait to read it. 😉
Your haul looks great this week too – I particularly like the look of Falls the Shadow and I also loooove Kelley Armstrong. Happy reading!!
