Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and The Bookish. This week’s theme is:
My Dream Book Purchases
Ten Books I’d Buy Right This Second If Someone Handed Me A Fully Loaded Gift Card
The short answer to this question would be ALL the books, amirite?!?! But since that isn’t particularly feasible (and I’m still bitter about that to be honest) I decided to narrow the list down to some gorgeous editions which I would love to own. Please, please, please could someone give me a loaded gift card so I can buy all of these pretties?!?!
I would LOVE to own this beautiful collection. Unfortunately it was a limited print which was rather difficult to get a hold of in the UK even when it was still in production. These covers are life.
I own The Secret Garden Penguin Threads edition and it is simply gorgeous. I really want to get the rest too!
These editions are just so pretty (and still readily available!) I really would love to own them. It will happen – I feel it in my bones. 😉
Another (sob!) limited run, these editions are extremely rare and quite sought after. I especially love the Wuthering Heights cover – it’s so moody and atmospheric!
Look at these stunning beauties! I love the gold and silver foil look – makes the books look rich and sumptuous. I have actually not read any F. Scott Fitzgerald so buying these books would really be doing myself a favour, right??
I just love the stunning simplicity of these covers. I recently bought The Hounds of the Baskervilles and it is just so pretty – I must buy more!
These are a somewhat modern-take but I really, really like these covers. I don’t normally like it when classics have really modern covers but these have totally won me over.
These covers are just so cute!! I absolutely covet them. 🙂
I love the simplicity of these covers and it was a genius idea to add quotes on the cover – I really, really want these. 😉
These are just so classically beautiful. I really love cloth bound books since I have an aversion to leather (veggie here!!) so these are the perfect alternative.
