Top Ten Tuesday is an awesome meme hosted by the lovely folks @ The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s theme is:

New-To-Me Authors I Read For The First Time In 2016!

Okay, I have a confession to make – I haven’t read any new authors this year (and I honestly feel terrible about it). This is probably the worst year I’ve had for reading since… well, since I learned to read probably. It’s not that I haven’t gotten excited about new authors or that I haven’t purchased anything new – I just haven’t read any of these new (to me) authors and/or books.

I thought I would try and put a spin on this topic by listing 5 rediscovered authors I read this year (re-reads have basically been a lifeline for me in 2016) and 5 authors I am looking forward to hopefully getting around to reading in the new year.

Rediscovered Authors

  1. eeek, I used to love Carol Ellis and Caroline Cooney’s point horror books. I’d love to re-read them and see if they’re as fun as I remember. I really enjoyed Labyrinth Lost this year too. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

    Great List, Happy Reading
