Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and The Bookish. This week’s theme is:
Top Ten Sequels I Can’t Wait To Get
There are a lot of books that I am eager to read out there. I tend to read series more than stand-alones so I well know the frustration at having to wait for the next book to come out. Here are some books where I am anxious for the sequel (either it isn’t out yet or I have yet to find the funds to buy it!):
1. The Winds of Winter by George R.R. Martin: I think I might be waiting a long time for this (EDIT: this is Brin from the future – this waiting on this book 5 years later!)
2. Fairest by Marissa Meyer: I do love a good villain P.O.V. – can you imagine how batsh*t Levana’s stoey is going to get??
3. Fool’s Quest by Robin Hobb: Such a nasty, cruel cliffhanger at the end of the last book – I honestly cannot wait to see how it is resolved!
4. Gathering Darkness by Morgan Rhodes: Every book so fa in this series has had a wicked cliffhanger – the last one was no exception! Need to follow-up now!!
5. Magic Breaks by Ilona Andrews: This series is one of my favourites so I can’t wait for the next entry. I adore Kate so much!!
6. Oblivian by Kelly Creagh: This series has me shook – honestly, I can’t believe the note it ended on in the last book – need the finale no please!
7. The Ruby Circle by Richelle Mead: I don’t love this series as much as Vampire Academy but I do ship Syndey and Adrian so I am eagerly awaiting this book to see how their relationship develops.
8. Shadow Scale by Rachel Hartman: I didn’t love the first book as much as I wanted to but I am definitely eager for the sequel!
9. Winter by Marissa Meyer: This series has been great so far, so I know the final book will definitely be worth the wait!
10. End of Days by Susan Ee: I adored the first book, was mildly disappointed by the second but very hopeful for a turnaround in the third book – fingers (and toes!) crossed!

I haven’t heard of any of these, but I am going to check out Marissa Meyer, because you have her on here twice!! Check out my TTT: http://passionateforpaperbacks.com/2014/11/18/top-ten-tuesday-3/
Marissa Meyer is awesome – I can’t recommend her enough. 🙂
Great picks – love Maggie Stiefvater.
I can’t wait to read Winter!
Me too!! <3
I can’t wait for The Ruby Circle, but I don’t want it to end =(
I haven’t read Silver Shadows yet – think I am putting it off because I don’t want to come to the end either. The books have just flown past so quickly!! 🙂
Winds of Winter! Yes! I need that one…. but I’m pretty sure we are gonna have to wait a few more years to get it though =(
I really hope it doesn’t get put back too much – I would be a very sad panda. 🙁 Given the previous delays though I think it is inevitable though.
I can’t wait for Shadow Scale!
I know what you mean – it has been such a looooong wait! 🙂
I love how you set these up!
Aww thank you! <3
I’m waiting for Winter, too–the book, not the season, I hate the cold–and now I have to check out Fairest, which I hadn’t heard of.
Winter looks incredible. I do like the look of Fairest as well – will be interesting to get Levana’s perspective. I do love a good villain. 😉
I want the Ruby Circle NOW! I just read Magic Breaks and it was great! I hope you like it when you get to it.
Lol – met too!! I have absolutely no doubt that Magic Breaks is fantastic – Ilona and Gordon have not let me down yet! 😉
I have Winter and The Winds of Winter too! The wait for the last one has just been unbelievably long. And Angelfall 3 too! So many great books coming out.
Great list!
Yay!! I know what you mean, think we have a very long wait in store for The Winds of Winter if past history is anything to go by. 🙁
There are so many great books… now it’s just finding the time to read them when they do come out!!
Yeah, it says 2015 but who knows? They might change the release year still.
I know! I always want to read them immediately but that almost vener happens…
I very much doubt it will be out in 2015 but I am still keeping my fingers crossed!
So am I!
I definitely can’t wait for Winds of Winter as well!
Yay – so many ASOIAF fans!! It’s an awesome series. 😀
I can’t wait to read Winter!!! ASDFGHJKL!?!
Me too – it is one of my most anticipated releases for next year. 🙂
