today’s topic is: Books Featuring… Zombies!
I love stories about vampires and werewolves as much as the next person but zombies are the one thing that really scares me – and I love to be scared! Here are some of my choices featuring the undead. I have (shamefully) only read one of my choices but I’m hoping to try and get the rest of these read very soon!
1. This is Not a Test by Courtney Summers
I came into this book expecting zombies and the book did not disappoint on that score but it was so much more than that. A tense, atmospheric survival story balanced with a well-drawn character study, I really could not put this one down. See my full review here.
2. The Other Life by Susanne Winnacker
I bought this book ages ago (like, before I had this blog even) and still haven’t read it yet. I’m not sure why because it looks like something I would really enjoy.
3. The Reapers are the Angels by Alden Bell
I have heard so many good things about this book – it’s actually criminal that I haven’t read it yet. I definitely need to do something about that… 😉
4. Rot and Ruin by Jonathan Maberry
Jonathan Maberry knows how to deliver a great story and it looks like Rot and Ruin is no exception. This has set on my (virtual) shelf for far too long.
5. The Forrest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan
This book looks like a has me written all over it (well, not literally) – I really want to read this!! *makes grabby hands*
