Prettiest Covers of 2021
Today’s prompt is actually Favourite Books of the Year but since I just did a very similar prompt for yesterday’s TTT post, I decided to smoosh last week’s T5W prompt (Prettiest Covers – which I missed) with this week’s topic to make up the Prettiest Covers of 2021! To keep with the original theme I’m selecting these covers from some of my favourite reads of the last year.
1. Any Way the Wind Blows by Rainbow Rowell
I love Kevin Wada’s illustrations for these books and this one is just perfect for the final book in this amazing trilogy! I’ve purchased both the UK and US editions (and will be getting the paperbacks as well). That’s how obsessed I am (with the books and the cover art) haha! 😀
2. Bright Midnight by Karina Halle
How gorgeous is this cover? (and the book wasn’t bad too!) 😉 The cover art is stunning and fits the book so well – I love the colours and how great they tone together. So pretty!!
3. Winterkeep by Kristin Cashore
This cover is everything! I love the illustration and the colours are so stunning! I wish I could get the rest of the books to match but sadly this one is a hardback and the rest are paperbacks (I got the US edition of Winterkeep). I suppose the rest of the books I own in this series are mix and match anyways so… (I do now own a matching hardback set from Fairyloot that are stunning as well). 😉
4. Aristotle and Dante Dive into the Waters of the World by Benjamin Alire Sáenz
Another lovely cover to match the first book. I really love the shading of the colours and how peaceful the setting looks. It definitely is one of my favourite covers of the books I have read this year.
5. Curse the Fae by Natalia Jaster
It was a toss up between the cover for this and Hunt the Fae but this one just edged out ahead – I adore the water motifs and the colour palette is soothing. The covers for this series have been on point and this one is for sure my favourite!
