I was back at work this week so not too much report except for my weekly book acquisitions! A pretty dull week actually, though I did find the time to re-read the Adrien English series which I’ve been meaning to do for a while. So not all bad!

Not many books bought this week (back on a budget again unfortunately (although my bank balance would disagree!) I am happy with the purchases I did get though. 😊

The Other Side of Lost by Jessi Kirby | Damsel by Elana K Arnold | Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo

I really like the sound of ‘The Other Side of Lost’. I was really happy to get it in a monthly book box. Also got an ARC of ‘Damsel’ in the same box which sounds really good. Bought this copy of ‘Ruin and Rising’ too. I have the new editions but I’m also collecting the older editions before they are gone for good.

Truckers by Terry Pratchett | Monster by Diane Hoh

I’ve never really been a fan of Terry Pratchett but so many people love his books. I’m hoping ‘Truckers’ might be the book that finally hooks me! I am also trying to collect all the ‘Nightmare Hall’ books – I’ve only got a few of the UK editions to get. The latter books are not readily available here so I’m going to have to source the US editions somewhere. I’m nothing if not resourceful though so I’m not too worried. 😉

Sadie by Courtney Summers | Cash Plays by Cordelia Kingsbridge | One-Eyed Royals by Cordelia Kingsbridge

I am really excited for ‘Sadie’ – I love Courtney Summers and the synopsis sounds so amazing. I also bought books three and four of the ‘Seven of Spades’ series – I really need to read this series soon.
