Beautiful Purple Book Covers
Purple is probably my favourite colour (well, alongside turquoise). So it pretty much goes without saying that I am drawn to purple book covers! I am a big fan of aesthetically pleasing book covers (which I have talked about many times before). These covers I have selected below all spoke to me in some way or another. The fact that they are all purple is just icing on the cake!
How pretty are these covers? Especially ‘Written in the Stars’ (I love the elaborate detailing). The purple just really pops out at you.
‘Across the Universe’ is actually one of my favourite covers ever! It’s just so stunning. I own this edition and sometimes I just pull it down to look at it and admire. I haven’t actually read ‘The Crown’ (or the rest of the series for that matter) but this cover is just gorgeous (and that is coming from someone who gets sick of the whole ‘pretty girl in dress’ cover trend).
‘The Bone Witch’ cover is just really spooky and awesome! I am again a big fan of the detailing. I am also super-into the cover for ‘Smoke in the Sun’.
‘The Speaker’ is stunning (and yay for diversity!) As for ‘The Heart of Iron’ – I am not sure what is going on there but I am digging it!
‘Ghostly Echoes’ is such a gorgeous cover – I love the overlays and it helps that the colour scheme is both purple with a hint of turquoise! Also, I am also really into the cover for ‘Their Fractured Light’ – guess I like space settings!

Ahhh! I would have said blue is my favorite color for covers but these are all really pretty and I am considering changing my mind haha. Great choices 🙂
Oh, purple covers are always so eye-catching! I wish I had more pink… but that’s alright.
Lots of great and beautiful books up there. I am a fan of the Selection, Reader, Starbound, and Jackaby books, and all have such great covers too.
