Stacking The Shelves – a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews
Stacking the Shelves
Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
- Participants are to create their own Stacking the Shelves post and link bank to Tynga’s Reviews so more people can join the fun!
- Posts can be laid out any way you want.
- The host site posts updates on a Saturday but bloggers taking part can post any day they choose.
- Visit Tynga’s Reviews on a Saturday and add your link.
- Visit other participants sites to find out what they have added!
The rules are simple and it is a really fun way to showcase your books and see what other bloggers are excited about this week! Not to mention the fact that it is a good way to interact with and get to know other bloggers!

here are the books i added to my shelves this week:
bought:
Some more fairy tale retellings this week! I have always fancied reading Winter Rose so I thought: why not? Akarnae looks like a really fun fantasy (seen some great reviews) and Red looked pretty darn intriguing too. 😀
Tattered Heart is another retelling (Sleeping Beauty this time) and I really don’t know too much about Sign of the Throne and The Rabbit and the Raven but the covers look so incredibly intriguing. I already bought the first book, so when I saw Salt & Stone reduced in price I snapped it up!
A White So Red is a Snow White retelling which looked interesting and the three books by Emily Snow were only £.99 for all of them so I also couldn’t resist picking them up.
freebies:
I cannot resist a freebie so when I saw the above books on Amazon I just had to get them – they all look so good too (plus there are a couple of fairy tale retellings – can you guess which ones?) 😉
for review:
Finally learned a little restraint and didn’t request so many ARCs – but the three I did get look pretty awesome. I am hoping to read all of them very soon!

I enjoyed the first two books in the Melissa Eskue Ousley series and I’m waiting on an ARC of book three which should be any day now! It’s pretty exciting! Hope you enjoy them both!
It looks like a really great series – I can’t believe I only recently heard of it! Hope you enjoy book 3. 🙂
I’ve got my eye on Arkanae as well. I’ve see and heard good things about it. Definitely one heading up my TBR list. 🙂
Akarnae does look amazing – hope you enjoy it when you get it. 🙂
You’ve got a few here I haven’t heard of. But I loved Salt and Stone, and I’ve seen Red around before. Great haul!
Check out my Sunday Post
Thanks! Salt and Stone looks great (got the first book to read too) and Red also looks like a good read. 🙂
I love the idea of freebies and I can never really resist them. I also got the book The Annihilation of Foreverland and its sequel for myself, so I hope we both like those!
Lol – I am totally the same – even though my shelves are already at bursting point, I can never resist a freebie! 😉
