Stacking The Shelves – a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews

Stacking the Shelves

Here are the rules:

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

  • Participants are to create their own Stacking the Shelves post and link bank to Tynga’s Reviews so more people can join the fun!
  • Posts can be laid out any way you want.
  • The host site posts updates on a Saturday but bloggers taking part can post any day they choose.
  • Visit Tynga’s Reviews on a Saturday and add your link.
  • Visit other participants sites to find out what they have added!

The rules are simple and it is a really fun way to showcase your books and see what other bloggers are excited about this week! Not to mention the fact that it is a good way to interact with and get to know other bloggers!

I know I am supposed to be on a self-imposed book-buying ban but The Works were having an awesome sale so I couldn’t resist! 😉

Here are the ARC’s I got from Netgalley/Edelweiss:

OMG – I got approved for Hannah Moskowitz’s new book Not Otherwise Specified!!! I’m excited – can you tell? 😉

The super-awesome Cayce at Fighting Dreamer also had a giveaway as part of her LGBT Challenge for June. I was very lucky to receive a copy of Imaginary by Jamie Sullivan! Thanks Cayce!!

    • Thanks! I have some of her other books but haven’t read them yet. When I saw these ones on sale though I just had to buy them – might just have to do a catch-up with all of her books! 😉

Great haul! The Fire Wish looks fantastic – I’ll be looking out for your thoughts on it.

    • LOL I know what you mean – I buy books (usually in bulk) then take ages to get round to them. 😉

Awesome haul. I am very intrigued by Wickedpedia – Point Horror for the Internet generation… sounds like it will be interesting!

    • They are really pretty – think I like them better than the original covers! I went a bit mad on Julie Kagawa books this week – perfect excuse to start reading them. 😉

Wow, you got a lot of amazing books this week – Gates of Thread and Stone, Midnight Thief, Free to Fall…I wouldn’t know where to start! Hope you enjoy all of your books. I will be looking out for your reviews! 😀
