Massive Book Haul Incoming
Alright, it has been way too long since my last STS post, so this post is going to contain an absolutely massive book haul. I’m just warning you now!! I haven’t really been keeping up-to-date with everything (including reviews, memes, comments etc.) and I really need to do better. Hopefully I’ve started to turn a corner and I really want to begin posting on a more regular basis.
I mentioned in my last STS post I wasn’t going to leave it as long the next time, as you can see, I totally bailed on that promise. This is the longest I have ever gone (my last post was on 31st December 2016, to give it some context) without posting a book haul.
I now have the astronomical task of trying to remember everything I’ve bought/acquired over the last 10 (yikes!) months. I wish I could just start afresh with the most recent purchases but my OCD really will not let me off so easy. Bear with me, this is going to be a super-long post!
Book Haul – New Books
(please click on the cover for link to Goodreads)
A Shiver of Snow and Sky is a book I have been really looking forward to. I was pleased to win a copy in a giveaway but lo and behold, another came my way in the October Book Box Club box! Ah well, I can always gift one to a friend! I am also totally enamoured with this gorgeous edition of Anna Karenina – it’s so pretty!
Flame in the Mist is a book I was desperate to read this year. I received an eARC from Netgalley but the gorgeous hardcover edition came in a Fairyloot box.
Letters to the Lost is such a good read (which reminds me, I still have a review to write). I also picked up the film tie-in edition of IT since my old copy fell apart!
Really looking forward to reading Miranda and Caliban. I am a huge fan of Jacqueline Carey – I know she will do the tale justice.
Finally bought Prince’s Gambit (I already owned books one and three). I read the entire series at the start of the year as a result I am now a big fan of C.S. Pacat!
A Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue was brilliant. I’m really looking forward to The Hate U Give too -heard so many good things.
I am totally in love with the hardback edition of Wonder Woman: Warbringer – I got a signed copy too which I am totally over the moon about!
I know I have two copies of Wonder Woman: Warbringer. As you can see I love collecting different editions!
Some books I got through Goodreads giveaways. Black Feathers, Crimes of the Father, A New Map of Love, Greetings From, Hammond Flux, Pendulum, Siracusa, and William Wenton and the Luridium Thief. I’ve been pretty lucky this year!
Book Haul – Vintage Books
I…ugh…may have gone a bit overboard!
Alright, I know I got a tonne of Babysitters Club books but there was a lot going really cheap on eBay. What’s a girl to do? 😉 Did any of you read this series when you were younger? Who was your favourite Babysitters Club member? Mine was Claudia. 😊
finally managed to get my hands on some First Love From Silhouette books! Not to mention some Dark Forces books as well which are super-hard to find at a reasonable price.
I have been trying to get these Night World editions for a while. Only got book number seven Huntress to get so if anyone ever sees a copy anywhere be sure to let me know!
That’s me got all the Nowhere High books now. Except for book eight Cutting Loose which I’m still not convinced actually exists! No one else seems to have heard of it and there are, like, zero copies available anywhere. Can anyone shed any light on this? 😕
Finally completed my Sunfire set (I’ve actually only been collecting them since June). I have always been super-curious about these books so looking forward to getting stuck in.
