Thanks to Gen from GenGen’s Book Blog for tagging me! I am really behind on my tags (really, really behind) but I am hoping to catch up very soon. 😀
Ten Book Challenge Tag
This tag looks like a lot of fun (I love, love, love doing tags) so I of course had to take part after being tagged as per above. It would be rude not to… 😉
Here are the rules:
List 10 books that have stayed with you in some way. Do not take more than a few minutes and do not think too hard. They do not have to be the “right” books or great works of literature, just ones that have affected you in some way. Paste these instructions and tag 10 friends, including me, so I can see your list.
This book was so thought-provoking – in the best possible way. Such an amazingly powerful read. I haven’t been able to get it out of mind.
I had read Shiver by MaggieStiefvater and hadn’t really been all that fussed for it. I really didn’t expect to be blown away by The Scorpio Races – imagine my surprise!
Such a sweet and undemanding love story -I absolutely adored it! I really cannot recommend this series enough as it is the perfect, cute contemporary read I was looking for.
This book gutted me – it was just so sad. Very much worth reading but definitely one that will bring out all the feels. I’m not sure if I will ever read it again but it is definitely one I’m glad to have read (even as it made me sad).
I remember reading this when I was a teenager (after seeing the movie). It always makes me feel nostalgic when I pick this back up.
I love KristenCashore’s writing and this book is incredible – but it made me incredibly angry at the same time! I hate the love interest (there was another character who would have fitted much better and there were hints so… maybe in a future book?) and some of the book was really hard to read (like, in a triggering way).
A reading staple – this book has gotten me through some tough times. It is one I know I will return to time and time again – a comfort read if there ever was one.
I never thought of Central America as appealing for me to travel personally – until I read this book! Seriously, it is so evocative and it really made me want to travel the globe.
Gah… this book is perfection – nowt else I can really say! I expected to like it (it looked like a ‘me’ book) but I didn’t expect to feel quite as strongly as I did.
This sequel just crapped all over the first book Atom Heart John Beloved. I honestly don’t think I have ever been so mad at a fictional character in my life! Nathan was just… urgh!!!

The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay | The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater | Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins | Sweethearts by Sara Zarr | The Outsiders by S.E.
