I remember watching Wrath of Khan in elementary school and just being terrified – poor Chekov! Such a great movie though. So good.
Lol, the bit with the ear slug thingy always creeped me right out! It is truly a classic though – despite the icky bits. 😉
Such a great list! I have watched the full version of Aliens and The Thing so many times. I love those films! Also love Star Trek 2…it’s the only one I’ve seen right through…and the Star Wars original trilogy. It’s hard to pick which Star Wars one was my favourite though. When I was younger I watched Dead Poet’s Society a lot and always get a lump in my throat at the end, loved the Outsiders, and I drooled at Kiefer Sutherland in Stand by Me first time I saw it! Great list!
Thanks! I recently watched the double bill of Alien and Aliens at the cinema for the first time – it was amazing to see them on the big screen and it totally solidified my love for the series again! The Thing is probably my most favourite film of all-time – it never fails to freak me out (in the best possible way). 😉
The ending of Dead Poet’s Society is just so poignant – but it might be hard to watch now after losing Robin Williams. 🙁
Kiefer Sutherland in Stand by Me was all kinds of sexy (I feel really wrong for saying that because his character is such a nasty thug but oh well). 😉 He was lovely in The Lost Boys as well. <3
