Monthly Reading Wrap-Up (Mar 2024)
A little bit later with March’s wrap-up but I guess I’ve at least been posting about other stuff so I can cut myself a little bit of slack! 😉
March was a decent reading month overall. A few more re-reads than in January/February but the weather was pretty miserable so obviously I was in need of some comfort reads.

March 2024

1. Match Me if You Can by Sandy Barker : This book was okay but a bit… forgettable, maybe? It was well-written but I just didn’t click with the characters so it fell a little short for me.
2. Lean on Me by Beth Moran : Another solid outing from Beth Moran – I enjoyed this one very much. I liked the protagonist a lot and the love story was understated but sweet.
3. Another Time, Another Place by Jo Lovett : This book started out pretty well, even though a touch predictable at times but the twists that occurred in the second half just didn’t work for me and felt out of place and just little bit like too much of a coincidence to keep the main characters apart.
4. Rent to Be by Sonia Hartl : This book was decent enough, the plot flowed well and the characters were likable. It was enjoyable but not particularly memorable for me.
5. Punk 57 by Penelope Douglas : This was my favourite book by the author when I read it a couple of years ago and I’m happy to report it kept its spot on my ranking!
6. Misconduct by Penelope Douglas : I enjoyed this one a lot! As always I enjoyed the author’s writing and the love story was definitely heated!
7. This Time It’s Real by Ann Liang : This book is super-cute! I loved the setting and the main character and her love interest are really cute together. Just a nice feel-good YA book.
8. The Seven Year Slip by Ashley Posten : I’ve become a fan of this author in recent years and this is another great story from them. Not my favourite but still an interesting concept and couple.
9. Fold by Ashley Jade : This trilogy of books is maybe my favourite by this author – it’s an unusual love story but it really works for me, especially how hard-fought it is.
10. Bluff by Ashley Jade : The second book in the series doesn’t fall into the usual middle-book syndrome – it advances the plot and really digs into the characters. I think it’s my favourite of the three.
11. All-in by Ashley Jade : The third and final book is a rollercoaster of a read. I’m happy to say all of these books hold-up well on a re-read!
12. Cruel Prince by A. Jade : Another great series – the first book is still the weakest entry for me but that doesn’t mean it isn’t a good read – far from it, in fact. It sets up everything well.
13. Ruthless Knight by A. Jade : I really relate to Sawyer, the FMC in this second entry (and I love Cole -the MMC – warts and all!) 😉
14. Wicked Princess by A. Jade : The only reason this entry isn’t a full five stars is because of how short it is (later editions include this portion into the final book Broken Kingdom). It’s still excellent though (even though the love interest is… well, I don’t want to spoil it – read the following book!!)
15. Broken Kingdom by A. Jade : My ultimate favourite book of this series (and favourite couple – I adore Bianca and Oakley!!) It was great reading about them again – so glad I did a re-read of this series too!!
16. Zeus by Eden Finley : I enjoyed this one but it wasn’t my favourite of the series. I just don’t think anyone could beat Iris and Saint!!
