Colourful Book Covers

I do love looking at brightly coloured book covers (I like nice art on covers period!) I am very much a visually-oriented person so an attractive and colourful cover will draw me in right away. Here are some of my recent favourites:

colourful book covers

1. The Gilded Ones by Namina Forna

This cover is extremely eye-catching! I own the paperback and it’s so pretty on my shelves. The gold and the green go perfectly together.

2. Punk 57 by Penelope Douglas

This is my favourite Penelope Douglas book and the cover says a lot about the book – one of the characters is a graffiti artist so the aesthetic makes total sense.

3. The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren

The cover really makes this look like a breezy, summer read and it totally is in many ways (though has a lot of hidden depth and a little angst to weigh it out). I love the bold yellow!

4. Tokyo Ever After by Emiko Jean

That blue is so stunning! It is definitely one of my favourite colours and it really makes this cover pop!

5. Second First Impressions by Sally Thorne

I love how brightly pastel this cover is! It really makes the most of its minimalist artwork and the colours are muted yet stand out at the same time.

6. You Deserve Each Other by Sarah Hogle

I never thought that a dark pink-maroon-ish colour could be so striking but this cover manages to do just that!

7. 100 Days of Sunlight by Abbie Emmons

Yellow is always a colour that shines brightly and this cover is dazzlingly yellow haha! It really makes the cover noticeable.

8. In Deeper Waters by F.T. Lukens

The mix of colours on this cover really do make a splash (see what I did there? Comedy genius in the making, or what? haha!)

9. XOXO by Axie Oh

I love the pastel palette used for this cover. It is attention-grabbing in a slightly more subtle way and it just makes me feel happy. 😀

10. Cool For the Summer by Dahlia Adler

Loving all the purple tones on this cover! It is very arresting and draws your attention right away. Can you tell purple is my favourite colour?
