Stacking the Shelves – a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews & Reading Reality
what’s the buzz: weekly round-up and book haul
Hoo boy, well after a promising week before this week turned into hell in a handbasket (I have no idea what that even means but I’m committed to it now so I am going with it haha!)
I did no blogging, very little reading (only managed to squeeze in a half hour here and there on my lunch breaks at work) and just generally didn’t get much of anywhere at all this week. Balls.
Nevermind, here have a gif of Hale Appleman shaking his tits in the desert! (if you watch the ‘Making Magic‘ vid on YouTube for this week’s episode you’ll totally get the joke here!) I cannot wait to see The Magicians series 4 (why does it take so long to come out in the UK!) and the musical episode in particular…
on the blog:

weekly bookish purchases
Little Eve by Catriona Ward | Other Breakable Things by Kelley York and Rowan Altwood | Last Ones Left Alive by Sarah Davis-Goff
I got a couple of signed books Little Eve and Last Ones Left Alive from Forbidden Planet and Goldsboro Books respectively. I also got Other Breakable Things (sadly unsigned) which I’ve been meaning to buy for ages!
The Near Witch by V.E. Schwab | Viper by Bex Hogan | To Best the Boys by Mary Weber
My second copy of The Near Witch arrived this week! I also got Viper and To Best the Boys which both look pretty awesome. Even better – all books are signed – whoop!
Capture by Rachel Van Dyken | Something Borrowed by Louisa George | Reap by Casey L. Bond | Love Muffin and Chai Latte by Anya Wylde
How well aesthetically these covers go together! Aren’t they all pretty? I can’t wait to read these (and can you believe they were all free on Kindle?)
The Affiliate by K.A. Linde | A Warden’s Purpose by Jeffrey L. Kohanek | When You’re Gone by Marguerite O’Callaghan | Broken Strings by Casey Carson
These were also free for Kindle (and I can never resist a freebie!) but they all sound pretty darn interesting so I’m definitely eager to read them soon!
