Stacking the Shelves – a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews & Reading Reality

what’s the buzz: weekly round-up and book haul

Well, apart from having to work yesterday (which is why this post is a day late, FYI) it was a pretty good week overall. Managed to get out to the cinema (twice!) to see Countdown and Doctor Sleep which were both pretty good (especially Doctor Sleep).

I’ve just had a chill day today (because the weather is absolutely awful – pouring rain like you wouldn’t believe). I had a long lie, lounched about in pj’s all day (still in them, in fact!) and watched The Terminator. I had forgotten how much I love that movie (and Michael Biehn as Kyle Reese? Swoon.) I seriously had the biggest crush on him in the 90’s when I was a young teen – that man was fiiiine. Something about all that intensity… *fans self*

Ahem. Now where was I? Oh yeah, what I have been up to this week. I managed to squeeze in some time for reading as well despite being busy, busy, busy at work. I also found time to purchase bookish merch… because of course I did! 😉

bookish merch

  • Book sleeves from Book Besties UK – I am so in love with the Final Fantasy fabric! The Beetlejuice and Sarah J. Maas sleeves are awesome too!
  • Bookmarks from Happy Hello Co and pin from Swifterly – I love the Halloween-costumes on Aelin and Rowan! So super-cute. The Halloween-themed pin is absolutely stunning too.

bookish merch

  • Grisha themed EpikPack from EpikPage and Darkling bracelet by Chique Creates – I am really impressed with the quality and amount of goodies in these packs and I love, love, love this bracelet so much!
  • ACOTAR themed EpikPack from EpikPage and pin from Punky Pins – Another awesome pack and I love all the little extras! I also really love the Halloween pin – Pawltergeist indeed. 😉
