Stacking The Shelves – a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews
Stacking the Shelves
Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
- Participants are to create their own Stacking the Shelves post and link bank to Tynga’s Reviews so more people can join the fun!
- Posts can be laid out any way you want.
- The host site posts updates on a Saturday but bloggers taking part can post any day they choose.
- Visit Tynga’s Reviews on a Saturday and add your link.
- Visit other participants sites to find out what they have added!
The rules are simple and it is a really fun way to showcase your books and see what other bloggers are excited about this week! Not to mention the fact that it is a good way to interact with and get to know other bloggers!

here are the books i added to my shelves this week:
I managed to show some restraint this week, but I still couldn’t resist picking up a couple of bargain books. I need to be stopped! lol 😉
bought:
Dawnsflight and Morning’s Journey looked like books I would really love so when I saw them going for £0.99 on Kindle I just had to snatch them up! To All My Fans With Love from Sylvie was also on sale (£1.16 for the paperback) so I just had to buy it! It’s a vintage young adult novel recently re-released via Lizzie Skurnick Books and although I never actually read this one as a teen, it is one that I have always wanted to pick up. I also ordered a copy of the first Nowhere High book (used – it’s been out-of-print for years) and it finally came this week!
for review:
I also picked up some books for review that I am really excited about, especially The Quality of Silence (it looks so good!) and Out of Control which is another recently re-released vintage young adult book – Open Road Integrated Media have released a whole variety of older titles which is awesome because so many have been out-of-print for years. 😀

Holy moly! I think I read To All My Fans a long time ago and have since forgotten its existence! Man, brings back memories now!
It also reminds me of another vintage book I read as a teen, I had to go find it and come back, because maybe you would like it too! It’s called P.S. I Love You (no, not that one that got turned into a movie), and it’s by Barbara Conklin. I read it sooo many times. Here’s the Goodreads link. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/42166.P_S_I_Love_You?from_search=true&search_version=service_impr
Lol – it’s funny when that happens! 🙂
I remember P.S. I Love You – I read so many of the Sweet Dreams books when I was younger!! Ah, the memories. P.S. I love You was one of the hardest-hitting books in the series – and it was the very first book at that!! Thanks for bringing it to mind. 🙂
I hope you enjoy your haul // Out of Control looks really good.
Happy reading! 🙂
Thanks! It does look like a great read, I was very happy to get a copy. 🙂 Hope you enjoy your books too – Something Real is one I have been meaning to read for ages – will look forward to seeing your thoughts on it.
The Quality of Silence looks good. Nice haul, happy reading 😀

Great haul this week! I haven’t heard of any of these so I may have to search them on Goodreads. Happy reading! 🙂

Thanks! I picked up a bit of a mixed bag this week. lol 😉
What does restraint mean? *giggles* I’ve given up trying to restrain myself for the moment to just enjoy the book grabbing! Enjoy your books!
Heh – restraint is not a word that sits well with me either! I just cant seem to resist new books. 😉 Hope you enjoy your haul – Charming looks like something I would enjoy too. 🙂
