Stacking The Shelves – a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews
Stacking the Shelves
Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
- Participants are to create their own Stacking the Shelves post and link bank to Tynga’s Reviews so more people can join the fun!
- Posts can be laid out any way you want.
- The host site posts updates on a Saturday but bloggers taking part can post any day they choose.
- Visit Tynga’s Reviews on a Saturday and add your link.
- Visit other participants sites to find out what they have added!
The rules are simple and it is a really fun way to showcase your books and see what other bloggers are excited about this week! Not to mention the fact that it is a good way to interact with and get to know other bloggers!
here are the books i added to my shelves this week:
I went a bit mad this week after finally showing some restraint last week! I am really happy with all the pretties I got this week though so I can’t feel too bad about it (even though my wallet is cursing me right now). 😉
I had an ARC of A Court of Thorns and Roses and loved it so much I just had to buy a copy for myself! The Wrath and the Dawn is a book I have been longing for so I had to buy it the instant it came out. I also couldn’t resist picking up a signed copy of The Novice.
End of Days is finally out – yay!! I also picked up the World of Thedas Vol I & II – I cannot wait to check them out!
City of Embers looks really intriguing and I also really liked the look of Trust the Focus. There was also a huge sale of Dreamspinner Press books so I picked up Bear, Other, & the Kid which I have had my eye on for a while.
I also picked up a couple of Mary Calmes books and Tigers and Devils as part of the deals – for £0.99 apiece – such an amazing bargain!
There were also some amazing freebies up for Kindle this week and I couldn’t resist – I clearly have very poor impulse control!
I also got a few review copies from Netgalley – looking forward to reading them all. The Confectioner’s Tale in particular looks like an awesome read and a bit of a change of pace for me since I have been reading so much young adult lately. 😀
I won Uprooted in a giveaway hosted by Mel @ The Daily Prophecy. Thanks so much to Mel and the publisher Pan Macmillan!
The Gray Tower Trilogy was offered as a giveaway by the author Alesha Escobar on Booklikes and I won a copy! Thanks to the author for this fab giveaway.
I also could resist taking a few snaps of my latest acquisitions!
Aren’t they pretty? 😉
